Maru Merge Privacy Policy

Publisher: Of the Bridge Studio

Effective date: October 15, 2026

1. Introduction

Of the Bridge Studio publishes Maru Merge, a free-to-play, physics-based merging puzzle game featuring fruit and planet-themed game modes. The publisher is Of the Bridge Studio LLC, doing business as Of the Bridge Studio, in Michigan, United States. This policy describes local game information, optional rewarded advertising, Unity Engine Diagnostics, and privacy-related contact with the publisher.

Maru Merge currently includes I Want Fruit! and I Want Planets! Additional game modes may be introduced in future updates.

The initial platform is Android. An iOS release is planned; platform settings and available privacy controls may differ if that version is released. Ordinary gameplay does not require watching an advertisement. Choosing to use rewarded advertising involves communications with the advertising services described below.

This policy concerns Maru Merge. It is not a single policy for every other Of the Bridge Studio game, app, product, or service. Policies for other projects are listed separately in our Privacy Center.

2. Information stored locally by Maru Merge

Maru Merge stores preferences and settings, the selected theme, saved run/progress, Best/high score, and Shake statistics or state locally on the device. The game uses this information to remember choices, continue a run, display scores, and operate gameplay features.

Device-local gameplay storage is separate from advertising-provider processing and Unity Engine Diagnostics. Local saves do not mean that all game-related information stays on the device. These separate services may involve off-device processing as described below.

Clearing app data or uninstalling the game may remove locally stored information. The result can depend on the operating system and its backup or restore settings. Reinstalling the game or restoring a device backup may affect which information is available again. A request to the publisher does not itself erase a save on your device.

3. Information processed for advertising

Maru Merge uses Unity LevelPlay as its advertising mediation service, with Unity Ads and ironSource Ads configured as advertising demand sources. Production advertising services initialize and can load rewarded advertisements. These services may process information during initialization, advertisement requests, delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, security, and diagnostics.

Depending on the applicable SDK, device settings, privacy choices, and region, advertising-related information may include advertising or device identifiers, IP address and IP-derived approximate location, device and operating-system information, advertisement interactions, performance information, and privacy or consent signals. The precise information processed depends on the SDKs and configuration in use.

Advertising services may process information before a player chooses to watch a rewarded advertisement. Declining an optional advertisement does not necessarily prevent advertising-related processing.

Personalized advertising is subject to applicable consent requirements and technical configuration. The application does not currently treat the Personalized Ads preference alone as authorization to enable personalized advertising.

Provider-described purposes may include ad delivery and selection, measurement and reporting, rewarded-ad operation, troubleshooting, fraud prevention and security, and personalization where permitted. The publisher does not necessarily receive every item a provider processes. Provider capabilities do not establish that a particular field has been transmitted by Maru Merge.

Unity’s general player policy covers multiple products. LevelPlay mediation disclosures do not cover every demand source; ironSource Ads and Unity Ads disclosures must be assessed for their distinct roles. The official resources linked below supplement, rather than replace, this app-specific policy.

4. Rewarded advertisements

Maru Merge offers optional rewarded advertisements. Players may voluntarily watch an available rewarded advertisement to earn additional Shakes. Watching advertisements is not required for ordinary gameplay.

Advertisement availability and reward completion depend on network connectivity, advertising-provider availability, applicable privacy choices, and technical conditions. Advertising SDKs may process information independently of whether a rewarded advertisement is completed.

5. Personalized or restricted advertising and consent

Maru Merge provides a Personalized Ads preference in its Settings menu. This preference does not disable all advertising and does not guarantee that advertising-related information processing stops.

The application uses Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) to support applicable advertising consent and privacy choices. Available consent messages and choices may vary according to the player's region and applicable requirements.

Personalized advertising depends on applicable consent and supported technical configuration. The necessary purpose and vendor consent mapping has not yet been fully verified, so effective personalized advertising currently remains disabled. Selecting the Personalized Ads preference does not independently enable personalized advertising.

Non-personalized advertising may still involve information processing for advertisement delivery, measurement, security, fraud prevention, and diagnostics. Declining personalized advertising does not necessarily disable all advertising or erase information previously processed by advertising providers.

6. Third-party providers

Unity LevelPlay is the mediation layer. ironSource Ads and Unity Ads are the confirmed configured bidding demand sources. These are separate roles: mediation coordinates ads, while demand providers supply them. No additional enabled ad networks are identified in this policy.

Unity also provides the engine/runtime used by the game, including the separately configured Engine Diagnostics described below. Engine Diagnostics is not an advertising demand source.

Provider documentation explains practices across particular services and configurations. Consult the official privacy, mediation, ironSource Ads, Unity Ads and diagnostics resources below. Their broader capabilities should not be treated as confirmed transmissions by Maru Merge; their notices supplement this app-specific disclosure.

If additional demand sources or other services are introduced, the relevant disclosures and this policy must be reviewed for the affected release.

7. Analytics, diagnostics, and crash information

Unity Engine Diagnostics is enabled in the current Unity engine configuration, and the current builds report diagnostic data enabled. This may involve Unity engine/runtime diagnostic or technical processing according to applicable Unity documentation. A specific diagnostic upload from the tested builds has not been independently observed; an enabled setting is not proof of an observed transmission.

No separate UGS behavioral Analytics SDK or publisher-operated behavioral analytics SDK was added. Legacy Unity Analytics and legacy Cloud Diagnostics reporting flags are disabled. Those legacy settings do not mean that the separately enabled Engine Diagnostics is disabled.

Optional game QA logs remain local. This local-only logging feature is narrower than Unity Engine Diagnostics and does not establish that all technical information stays on the device.

Engine Diagnostics is separate from advertising mediation, demand-provider diagnostics and privacy choices for ads. The Personalized Ads preference and advertising consent must not be assumed to control Engine Diagnostics. Exact diagnostic fields, actual transfers, retention, available dashboard or user choices and rights-handling procedures require further review; this policy does not invent them.

8. Information players are not currently required to provide

Maru Merge does not require player account registration or login, or direct submission to Of the Bridge Studio of a player name, postal address, phone number or payment-card details to play.

No separate player account or publisher cloud leaderboard was added. The verified gameplay preferences, saves and scores remain device-local. These facts do not mean that advertising providers or Unity Engine Diagnostics process no information.

If you voluntarily contact the publisher about privacy, the correspondence can include your email address and the information you choose to put in your inquiry. Avoid sending passwords, payment details, advertising credentials, or unnecessary sensitive information. Future account, social, payment, or online features would require a new review of the relevant disclosures.

9. How information is used

Local game information supports operation of the puzzle game, remembered settings and themes, scoring and statistics, save/resume behavior, and applicable Shake-related features. These are local gameplay purposes, separate from advertising-provider processing.

Advertising services may use information to deliver and select ads, measure advertising performance, troubleshoot, prevent fraud and maintain security; personalization depends on applicable requirements and actual privacy choices. The optional rewarded interaction also supports ad completion and the associated Shake reward. These provider-described purposes are not a claim that every purpose is enabled in Maru Merge or that the publisher performs each activity itself.

Unity Engine Diagnostics may support engine/runtime diagnostic or technical processing under the applicable Unity documentation. It is separate from local gameplay purposes and advertising. Its exact processing and actual transfers have not yet been established for the tested builds.

Information voluntarily sent in a privacy inquiry is used to understand the question, respond, and address any applicable obligations. Do not send unnecessary personal details to make a request. This policy does not assign unverified advertising, attribution, or analytics purposes to the publisher.

10. Sharing and third-party processing

Local gameplay preferences, saves, scores and Shake state remain device-local. This is distinct from off-device processing that may occur through Unity Engine Diagnostics or advertising SDKs. A provider may receive information directly even when the publisher does not.

Unity LevelPlay mediation, ironSource Ads and Unity Ads have distinct advertising roles. Production advertising services can initialize and process information independently of rewarded-ad viewing. Choosing not to watch an advertisement does not necessarily prevent that processing. Unity Engine Diagnostics is separately enabled; a specific diagnostic upload has not been observed.

Providers describe their service providers and partners in their privacy information. This policy does not assert that the publisher receives every field handled by a provider or independently sells player data. Privacy-law meanings of sale, sharing and tracking depend on the applicable processing and configuration; no unsupported categorical legal conclusion is made here.

11. Data retention

Local information remains associated with the app’s local storage until it is changed, removed, or affected by app or operating-system behavior. Backup and restore mechanisms can affect the practical result of clearing or reinstalling an app. We do not specify an unverified local retention period.

Provider-held advertising or Unity diagnostic information is subject to the applicable provider practices. Exact Engine Diagnostics retention is still under review. The publisher does not promise a particular provider retention period or that uninstalling Maru Merge deletes information from provider systems.

Privacy correspondence can be retained as needed to address the inquiry and applicable obligations. No fixed correspondence or advertising retention duration is promised here. You can ask the publisher about the handling of your inquiry using the contact information below.

12. Data deletion and controls

You can manage local app information through device controls such as clearing app data or uninstalling the app. Check operating-system instructions and backup/restore settings. These actions can remove local saves and preferences; they are not a remote deletion request to a provider.

Players can manage the Personalized Ads preference in the application's Settings menu and may be offered additional privacy choices through Google UMP where applicable. The Personalized Ads preference does not disable all advertising, guarantee that advertising SDK processing stops, or delete information already held by advertising providers.

Platform privacy settings may offer choices concerning advertising identifiers or tracking permissions. Available choices may differ on a future iOS release. Exact Engine Diagnostics controls and rights-handling procedures remain under review; no unverified diagnostic deletion tool is promised.

For a privacy inquiry, email contact@ofthebridge.studio. Requests about provider-controlled information may need to use that provider’s privacy tools. Of the Bridge Studio cannot promise it can identify, access or delete provider-held information unavailable to it.

13. Privacy rights

Depending on where you live and the processing involved, you may have rights concerning access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or particular advertising and privacy choices. The applicable rights and conditions can differ by jurisdiction and by the organization handling the information.

Contact the publisher to ask about a privacy concern or an applicable request. Explain the request without sending unnecessary sensitive information. If identity or context is needed to address a request, it should be limited to what is appropriate; this policy does not ask you to provide passwords or advertising-service account credentials.

A request about information controlled by a third-party advertising or Unity diagnostics provider may need to be directed to that provider. This policy does not promise rights that do not apply or a blanket ability for the publisher to act on every provider’s information.

14. Children’s privacy

Maru Merge is intended for players ages 13 and older. The application does not include a mandatory age-declaration prompt or an age-verification mechanism. It is not intended for children under 13.

The intended audience, advertising configuration, and Google Play target-age declarations must be aligned with applicable platform requirements and privacy obligations. An intended minimum age does not itself verify a player's age or establish compliance with children's privacy requirements.

Parents or guardians with privacy concerns may contact Of the Bridge Studio using the contact information in this policy. Advertising privacy controls do not necessarily govern the separately configured Unity Engine Diagnostics service.

15. International users

The publisher is based in Michigan, United States. Availability of the game in particular countries and regions depends on the release and store distribution choices; a future iOS release may have a different availability profile.

The location of the publisher does not establish where every advertising or Unity diagnostics service processes information. Consult the relevant provider privacy information for its descriptions of processing locations and international arrangements. This policy does not promise an unverified storage country, transfer mechanism, or contractual safeguard.

16. Security

No device, network, or service can be promised to be completely secure. Keep your operating system and app up to date and take care with information included in voluntary correspondence.

The publisher aims to handle privacy inquiries appropriately, and advertising and Unity diagnostics service security is described by those providers. This policy does not claim a particular security certification, encryption guarantee, or independently audited protection that has not been established.

17. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when game features, advertising integrations, provider practices, platform requirements, or applicable obligations change. Material changes should be reflected in the published policy and its effective date.

The effective date appears at the top of this policy. Review the policy linked from the game or the Privacy Center for the version applicable to a release.
